2011 EARTH DAY CELEBRATION AND 5K

The festival promises to be an earth-friendly experience to be enjoyed by the whole family. On-going workshops and educational display tables will help people learn how they can make changes in their lives and within their community to promote a healthier, sustainable environment. There will be an informative children’s activity area, live music and food from Homeslice pizza.

The Recycling Cooperative will display kids' art projects made from recycled material. Also look for bee and gardening workshops.

The run event begins at 10:00am and includes a 1-mile Family Fun Run. Registration forms can be picked up at Backcountry Experience and The Running & Tennis Store, as well as online.
