An adventure at La Boca Ranch! Fifth graders will explore a local food system at a sustainable working farm. They will observe integrated growing methods and get a taste for fresh, nutritious produce. Students will experience, first-hand, issues concerning human and environmental health as it relates to the choices we make about food. They will have the opportunity to meet local farmers, ranch animals, and get their hands in the soil.

No classroom session provided.
Curriculum for prep/follow-up will be provided to teachers.
