Do you have special knowledge you would like to share with our community? Call us today about becoming a Workshop Naturalist. Workshops can include special topic hikes, seminars, or lectures.
If you think you might like to pursue a career in outdoor nature education or the non-profit field, a Durango Nature Studies Internship can offer you a unique opportunity to learn about a small, well-established organization from the ground up. While you gain valuable work experience at Durango Nature Studies, our small staff receives the benefit of the additional assistance, which can include anything from office administration to teaching elementary students in the classroom or in the field.
If you are interested in becoming an integral part of a dedicated team while building your professional experience, we can provide you with a rewarding opportunity. Internships can range from 5 to 40 hours per week for one semester or longer. Unfortunately, no stipend is available at this time. |
