DNS needs volunteers to help at our booth at the 4th annual Who's Your Daddy Street Festival on June 14, 2008.
GET A FREE DNS T-SHIRT
Who's Your Daddy is a family friendly celebration in Downtown Durango and includes: Father's Day gift-making, live local music on the city stage, kids craft booths, a food court and beer garden, Wet-Zone water play area, a dunk tank, a bouncing castle, an ROTC climbing wall, etc. etc.
This year will be HUGE because we have joined forces with the Ride the Rockies, which will be kicking off from Durango. An anticipated 4,000+ people will be in attendance, as Ride the Rockies brings 2,500 riders and their families to Durango.
Durango Nature Studies will be there with all sorts of nature activities for kids and families can learn about skulls, tracks, and birds. The can dissect an owl pellet or make a plaster cast. We will make solar cookies and have t-shirts, hats, and stickers for sale. No experience necessary!!!!
Volunteers are needed the following shifts and All volunteers receive a FREE DNS T-SHIRT:
. 10:00 am – 12:30 pm (Help get things set up)
. 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
. 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
. 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm (Last shift is a bit longer because we need help shutting down)
